Interactive Color, Harmony & Pattern Workshop Inspires Artists

More than a dozen participants learned how to effectively use tone and color harmony to reveal the profound beauty of geometric designs during a free workshop titled “Color, Harmony & Pattern.”

The workshop, part of the Memnosyne Institute and Islamic Art Revival Series, was organized by Sacred Geometry Renaissance and Big Thought.

Lateefa Spiker led the two-hour interactive workshop, which was open to the public and geared toward artists as well as teaching artists. Spiker is an artist that forms part of the internationally-renowned Art of Islamic Pattern. Founded in 2008 by Adam Williamson and Richard Henry, the Art of Islamic Pattern now includes a group of practicing artists, craftsmen and specialists from around the world.
