Description

Le Theatre de Marionette’s school-friendly "Star Warp, May the Farce Be With You" is sure to delight with its fast-paced medley of acts featuring a farcical and fantastic array of stars including Belle and Beast, Elsa and Olaf, as well as Luke, Vader, Leia, Han and dancing Stormtroopers who just can’t keep it together. "Star Warp" captivates with over fifteen beautifully hand-crafted marionettes made here in north Texas by local professional artists. With a 35-minute run time, "Star Warp" is presented in the short-strung or cabaret format featuring visible, black-clad puppeteers who interact with the audience as part of the show. "Star Warp" requires six, preselected student volunteers for a unique and educational on-stage learning opportunity. Perfect for in-shcool, after-school or weekend events, "Star Warp" can be combined with interactive master classes and residencies designed for a one-of-a-kind experience.
