Description

Ever wonder how snakes swallow their prey whole or how beavers cut down trees? In this instructor-led, dialogue based program, students observe taxidermy specimens, skulls, pelts and other natural items to uncover the ways in which animals are both physically and behaviorally adapted to survive, and thrive, in their habitats.

Students Will

  • Discuss behavioral adaptations of animals
  • Observe physical adaptations of animals

Dates: Monday-Friday
Times: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 45 minutes
School Fee: $175 per program
Minimum Attendance: 10

Other Information: Maximum of four classes per day. Must be consecutive.

Cancellation Policy: Science Programs: Due to the more limited amount of funding through Learning Partners the Perot is pleased to offer Financial Aid to schools who apply and qualify. By applying for this program your fees for our field trip, outreach and exhibits could be reduced or eliminated. Art Programs: The Perot Museum is excited to offer a Self Guided Art Infused Tour of the Museum. Please check out this listing under the ART program offerings. NO OTHER REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED
