Everyday Einsteins is a new after-school pilot program that was designed to help students develop a greater passion for math and science. Providing fun, interactive environments that students require for optimum learning, Everyday Einsteins integrates key curriculum from the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), the community’s most effective math and science educators, and leading high-tech minds from the private sector. Now in its initial phase, Everyday Einsteins is identifying the most successful paths to engaging local students’ minds and is laying the groundwork for a model that can scale to include all elementary students throughout the United States. Ultimately, the program will better prepare our nation’s young people for a high-tech global economy that is becoming ever more competitive.

Because of its inherent interests in math and science, the American Electronics Association (AeA) is playing a critical role in support of Everyday Einsteins. Not only were executives from AeA Texas Council central in the launch of Everyday Einsteins, but individual members are already contributing. Even now, in the program’s infancy, AeA members have recognized the promise of Everyday Einsteins, contributing their time, expertise and financial support to help a new generation of math and science students.
