Thriving Minds Planning Research
1,347 caregivers of Dallas ISD students and 2,435 Dallas ISD teachers shared their experiences related to the importance of an arts education; 92% of respondents were not arts teachers; middle school students shared how they became interested in the arts, how they stayed engaged, and what obstacles and gaps they faced; and civic and cultural leaders, as well as educators, were interviewed about where arts education fits into the future vision for Dallas.
