Big Thought wins Arts Education award from Americans for the Arts!
We were the extremely grateful recipients of the Arts Education award, given out at the Americans for the Arts 2009 Conference in Seattle, Washington, last week.  Check out this article from the Dallas Morning News - and congratulations to the other award recipients!

Food for Thought at the Tower Club was a hit
The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class held a very well-attended and successful fundraiser on the 19th called Food for Thought at the Tower Club to raise money for Big Thought’s Creative Solutions program.  Many thanks to the class for choosing to honor Big Thought in this manner.  What a night - check out the pics!

Thriving Minds Summer Camps are now FULL! 
Big Thought, in partnership with Dallas ISD, is offering FREE Thriving Minds Summer Camps to DISD students. Camp participants take part in enrichment activities in dance, music, theater and visual arts led by professional artists, musicians and performers.  Breakfast and lunch are provided. Stay tuned for information about our After-School program coming in September!
