The Gen. Lib Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day administrative and tactical issues in support of Generation Liberations projects and mission.

About the Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with a high comfort level with changing priorities and familiarization with nonprofit experience. Must possess the ability to take initiative, plan, implement, and evaluate administrative operations.

What the Role entails:

  • Organize various projects and tasks in an effort to manage data related to programs and events
  • Develops and produces reports, documents, flyers, and other collateral materials that assist in creating needed resources in service of youth and families.
  • Utilize Community Asset Mapping tool used for engaging and identify existing resources within the community.
  • Develop quarterly issue reports.
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness, EQ, influence, and persuasion.
  • Participate in meetings with Gen. Lib. team while being attentive to inter-departmental specific program needs.
  • Design and conduct simulations.

Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Community outreach/engagement experience a plus
  • Clear and concise interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced technology skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have reliable transportation

To perform the duties of these roles successfully, you may regularly be required to: sit, stand, or stare at a computer screen for long periods of time; participate in external activities; use various office equipment, some manual; work in an environment with loud sounds, multiple distractions, and interruptions; be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures on occasion; maintain emotional control during stressful situations.
