ARTIVISM: Art as Activism (Thursday Evening)

August 16, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Join us for an original production created by teens in Big Thought’s Artivism program.

ARTIVISM is a partnership between Big Thought, Southern Methodist University, and professional Dallas artists to provide teens with a platform to speak out against social and racial justice issues through artwork, poetry and the performing arts. This August, teens from across Dallas came together to speak truth to power by creating an original play that amplifies the voices that need to be heard and inspires audiences to take action.

After the performance, join us for a talk back with the actors, writers and artists.
