Chief Programs & Systems Officer
Erin Offord is the chief programs & systems officer for Big Thought, where she provides leadership in developing and implementing strategies that connect community resources and quality programs for children and parents. With more than 15 years of experience in community service and organizing, and 11 years of commitment to the Big Thought team, Erin’s work has been shared nationally, including the Access, Equity and Quality in Arts Learning Conference, the Arts Educations Partnership, the Heinz and Hewlett foundations, as well as the 71st annual Conference for Community Arts Education. Erin has been recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as Top Minority Business Leader in 2020 and has received a Turner 12 Summer of Choice honor for mentoring local high school students.
Erin serves on several community event committees throughout Dallas in community arts and education, and was recognized by the Female Success Factor 2014 as one of the top 25 African American and Latina female leaders in Dallas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
